What toothpastes recommended????

Don't use toothpaste! Especially not the ones for Humans. Dogs and cats don't tolerate the fluoride!

I got my lab ~Lakota~ from the dog pound 13 years ago..extremely smart dog..went eveeywhere with me..fishing..hikes..parks..petstores..everywhere..she did not leave my wifes side during her 5 year fight with cancer. .today i have to take her to my vet at one..shes at her end..her body has lost to much strength. Hips have lost muscle..artgritis..lack of intersest ..Falls down..heavy breathing..i know her heart is failing..i just carried her outside so she could pody while ago...heart wrenching..but i love her..so im gonna do this for her.

Currently trying to learn to cut my 4 month old kittens nails, i'm diabetic and covered in scratches from her playing. Cuts and scrapes heal super slow on me, so she needs to get used of having her nails trimmed regularly lol

It’s such a humane thing to do and even though I just had to put my buddy down a few hours ago I know in my heart it was better for him to finally get some rest. He was an orange tabby cat that I named Venti because he was so big. He was happy and so full of life. Then he stops eating and we try to give him drugs but nothing works and I couldn’t stand to see him suffer. Still I feel so guilty like it is all my fault because have to give permission and it’s never an easy choice to make. If anyone could offer kind words I would appreciate it

Thank you so much for this video. It caused me to take my dog to the vet and talk about this issue. He assured me that she's in good condition for her age and gave me really good advice, echoing this video, and now I much more confidence that she's not ready to go - just a bad day or two. I had convinced myself that she wouldn't be coming home with me. She convinced me that she was still okay by dragging the food dish on the floor.

I used to take my cat to the vet to get his nails trimmed since he was a kitten, no issues. I lived and his new vet sedated him and now he refuses to let them do it. Hence why I now have to watch this video.

Thank you for this video. I know now, it is Mollies time. She has been my best friend for almost 15 years. My love for her could not save her from cancer. But I have beautiful memories. When I have to let her go very soon, I hope she knows how much I love and will miss her. And yhis is by far the best gift I could give her (while my heart silently breaks).

I am currently caring for our 16yo Pomeranian who over the last 3 months has deteriorated in health. She’s blind, deaf and her hind legs just don’t have much strength. We think she had a a stroke back in March because we found her twisted one day when we got home, she’s never been the same after that. She eats but doesn’t keep much down and when she drinks water she does throw it back out. She’s urinating and having bowel movements but it’s hard for her to go. I think we are at the point where her quality of life is not there but I’m so conflicted on whether it’s too early. 😔

Seems like there is never a good time to let your loved pet go. But, we had to put a dog to sleep, that we loved dearly, during Covid because she couldn't be saved. Or, if she was saved, she wouldn't be the dog we had before, and she would probably not have survived the surgery. So, we hated to make the decision, but we did. And, we still miss Cocoa on a daily basis.

Omg I am a nervous wreck. I have to trim my own OA 16 yr old cats' nails and she is a screamer and a biter and I don't want it to be painful for her at all but must do this in one session since she has to have gabapentin to do this else she cannot be handled at all. The vet was going to charge me $25 for the trim and sedate her for $145 additional dollars. (oh, and they hurt rather badly her during her last nail trim)THAT is corporate ownership of health care...people and pets. I have to sedate her myself with gabapentin first (thank god they gave it to me for other reasons) beforehand and trying like mad to get it all right. Oh, and I'm sick myself. That practice is now in my rear view mirror but I've got to manage this part myself. I hope the next vet will accommodate me with gabapentin. I'm gonna need it. Thanks for this tutorial.

I have three cats and one pees on pretty much anything. He’s one of two kittens who were dumped in our yard and the first thing this kitten did we took them in was to Lee on the down quilt. It’s ten years later and he’s had a life of peeing on piles of clothing and chair cushions. Oh, and also on the dog bed. I’m old now and am recovering from extensive cancer surgery and I just don’t have the stamina to keep washing everything he pees on. I’ve taken him to the vet again and again and there’s no medical problems with the cat. I’m stumped. Any ideas?
